Congratulations! You made it here! These are the downloadable bonus tracks for Divide the Storm!
That means that either:
- You bought the album and figured out how to scan the QR Code
- Someone in the know sent you this link
- You are sneaky with your surfing
Either way, you are cool with Das Binky. Das Binky likes when people seek out more music.
So, here are the tracks:
1. One Heart
This tune is only a bonus track if you bought the Explicit version of the album. It’s a lovely little song written and sung by John Das Binky’s 8-year old daughter Lucia, accompanied by John on ukulele. It will make your heart melt.
2. Sorry for You (Electric Version)
Sorry for You is a languid-ish mandolin tune that’s the penultimate track on both versions of Divide the Storm. When I was recording it for the album, I went back and forth between leaving it as a stark acoustic number, or making it a larger pop number. The minimalist version wone out, but here is the version that might have been.
3. Let Me Believe
This song was written a few years back by John Das Binky and Deborah Linden (who did backing vocals on “(I Am a) Genius of Unspeakable Evil” on Divide the Storm), and would fit in nicely as a bonus track on an Evanesence album. It’s one of my favorite tunes, but it just didn’t fit with the rest of the album either stylistically or thematically, so it didn’t make the cut. But here it is for you in a remixed version.
